MHS Enters Gingerbread House Competition

Up to 18 high schools, including Marietta High School, are competing in a state-wide gingerbread house competition.

Forget cupcake wars! This season Georgia's high schools are competing in the first ever Gingerbread House Competition as part of Brasstown Valley Resorts annual holiday celebration.

Up to 18 Georgia high schools are invited to take the challenge to build the most creative gingerbread house in the state. The winning school will be awarded a gift of $500, the second place winners will get a gift of $300 and the third place school will get a gift of $200.

Judging for the winners will take place on Nov. 19 at Brasstown Valley Resort and all of the entries will remain on display through Jan. 2.
