Public Hearing - Millage Rate

Tuesday, July 23, 5:30 p.m., all concerned citizens are invited to the public hearing before the Board of Education special called meeting to set the millage rate (property tax). Meetings are held at the Marietta City Schools Administrative Offices located at 250 Howard Street in Marietta.

Open Bluegrass Jam

Every Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Australian Bakery hosts an Open Bluegrass Jam. Join in the circle inside the shop or pick in one of the several groups that have blossomed under the oaks out front on the sidewalk.

All skill levels are welcome. Come in to play or just listen. The Bakery is located on Marietta Square at 48 South Park Sq NE  Marietta, GA 30060.

Kennesaw Farmers Market

On Tuesdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., an average of over 30 local farmers and merchants offer fresh tomatoes, flowers, seasonal fruits and vegetables, baked goods, plants, herbs, and a variety of local food and products. Adams Park Soccer Field Parking Lot: 2753 Watts Drive, Kennesaw.

Kennesaw Trail System

Meet up with other residents who are interested in walking on the Kennesaw Trail System for health, fun and fitness. Walking at a moderate pace for 30-60 minutes burns stored fat and can build muscle to speed up your metabolism. Tuesday, 9 a.m. Meet up at the trailhead of the southernmost link of the trail system (northeast parking lot of the Kennesaw First Baptist Church)
