Marietta Looking to Improve Playoff Seeding
Here's what's happening in high school athletics in Marietta Patch on April 29.
The high school baseball season has been going on for over 10 weeks now, but for most teams it ends Friday.
Marietta will be hosting the game of the day in the Marietta Patch. The Blue Devils will be shooting to improve their seeding in next week's state tournament.
If Marietta – currently fourth in Region 5-AAAAA with an 5-6 record – can get past Wheeler on Friday at Wheeler, then the Blue Devils – pending tiebreakers – could earn the three seed heading in to postseason play.
