Cobb's Osborne High will hold another informational meeting today regarding school choices related to this year's state standardized test results. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. tonight in the Martha Bigham Auditorium at the school. Osborne's Adequate Yearly Progress data will be discussed. Parent letters regarding school choice will be mailed this week
Cobb students who attend schools that have not made Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) on state exams for three consecutive years may be eligible to transfer to another school in good standing. Under the federal No Child Left Behind law, districts must offer transfers to other schools selected by the district. For information: www.cobbk12.org/Osborne
