After nearly , Hinojosa has been a visible figure as he seeks feedback from educators, students and their parents. He's held numerous town hall events and before civic groups.

It's all part of the job that comes with being superintendent. But in a recent interview with The Marietta Daily Journal, Hinojosa said considered himself "blessed" to be in this position, even with those challenges and the daunting budget deficit facing the school system in the coming year.
