Marietta Superintendent Lembeck to Host Coffee Talk Feb. 26

Among the topics at this Coffee Talk are the upcoming Education SPLOST, the Marietta City Schools' new Strategic Plan, Charter System Renewal status, the Common Core State Standards and Career Pathways.

Marietta City Schools (MCS) Superintendent, Emily Lembeck will host “Coffee Talk” — a community dialogue, at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 26, at West Side Elementary.

“Coffee Talk” is free and open to the public. West Side Elementary is located at 344 Polk St., Marietta.

Coffee Talk provides an excellent opportunity for me to meet with parents and community members to discuss Marietta City Schools’ accomplishments, strategic initiatives and our progress overall,” said Lembeck.

The Talented and Gifted (TAG) Learning Academy at West Side Elementary provides kindergarten through fifth grade students a global, academic program designed to uncover and develop the unique talents and gifts of all students.
