Chatt Tech Beats Point University 38-6

Chattahoochee Tech won its opening game against NAIA Point University at Osborne High School Monday.

The club football team beat NAIA Point University 38-6 on Monday at home field . 

The Golden Eagles blocked two punts, covering one for a touchdown in the fourth quarter, and recovered two of their own fumbles in the end zone for scores, according to a press release.

“For the first game, I thought we did exceptionally well,” head coach Tim Freeman said in the release. “We had a couple of fumbles, but the ball bounced our way. The offense played well, and the defense played hard.”

The win opens the second season of football for the Chatt Tech program. 

Chattahoochee Tech will next play on Sunday, Sept. 18 at home against Orangeburg-Calhoun Tech of South Carolina.
