Friday Football Preview: Can Marietta Stay Hot?

Marietta (4-4, 4-0) at Walton (8-0, 4-0) – The only two teams still unbeaten in Region 5-AAAAA play face off tonight when Marietta travels to . The Raiders are perfect on the season and have won their last two games by 35 and 38 points, respectively. Marietta won a dogfight last week over Lassiter and seems to have recovered from an 0-4 start to the season.

East Paulding (7-1, 4-1) at Osborne (2-6, 1-4) – Osborne’s lost four of its last five games and was blanked last week by Sprayberry, who pasted 43 points on the Cardinals. Tonight has the unenviable task of hosting Region 5N-AAAA powerhouse East Paulding, a team that was just upset at home last week by Pope.
