Marietta Has to Fight for Playoff Spot

The Lassiter (18-6, 9-1) baseball team has a slight percentage-point advantage over Etowah in the Region 5-AAAAA standings, but for all intents and purposes is tied for the lead.

On Wednesday, the Trojans travel to Marietta (12-11, 5-5) to take on the Blue Devils who are holding on to the fourth place seed in the region. With two games to go, and Marietta holding onto a two-game lead for the final playoff spot in the region, it would be best for the Blue Devils to win one of their remaining games.
