Post Weddings, Engagements on Patch

The summer wedding season is almost over, but you can always post your engagement and wedding announcements, and more, on Patch.

Want to announce to the world that you’re engaged to that great gal you’ve had your eye on for a while? Ready to tell everyone that you just married that nice man from your hometown? Patch is ready to help.

Share the news of your engagement and/or wedding with a free Patch announcement. Simply click the Announcement option under the News tab on the homepage. On the right side of the screen you’ll see the button “Add an Announcement.” This will you take you to Patch’s new announcement form. When you’re ready, click “publish my announcement” and it will go live to the site immediately.

Beyond engagements and weddings, there are many other things Patch allows and encourages you to post, such as births, school or community awards, job promotions, religious occasions and more.

Is your wedding open to all? Are you throwing a bridal shower and need to spread the word? Post the occasion as an event on Marietta Patch for free. Navigate to the Events page and click “Add an Event” on the right side of the page. Tell us all the details about your upcoming event, then click “post my event” at the bottom of the page.

Want to share your experiences in dating, preparing for a wedding, going through married life or other topics that get you writing? Blog on Patch for free. Clicking this link will navigate you to the new blog post form where you share what you know, think and feel. Blogs with photos can be included on Dallas-Hiram Patch’s homepage and are sometimes featured in Patch’s daily newsletter
