An Intimate Evening of Jazz and Dance

The PEARL Foundation and Rho Zeta Omega's fundraising efforts in 2010 raised $15,000 in scholarships for Marietta City and Cobb County high school students.

The PEARL Foundation, Inc., in conjunction with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Rho Zeta Omega Chapter, will hold its signature fundraising event An Intimate Evening of Jazz and Dance to support Cobb County.

Guest jazz artist Jonathan Kilgore and Friends will return for an evening of glitz, glamour, gourmet cuisine and the roaring 20s style.

The event will take place Saturday at 7 p.m. at The Twelve Atlantic Station, 361 17th Street, Atlanta.

As a result of The PEARL Foundation and Rho Zeta Omega’s fundraising efforts in 2010, $15,000 in college scholarships were awarded in 2011 to high school students from and .

The PEARL Foundation also sponsored many other community service programs, such as Emerging Young Leaders, a middle school program for girls at Tapp Middle School. The goal of this program is to teach leadership skills to girls in sixth through eighth grade.

Special presentations will be made to some of PEARL's major contributors, including The Home Depot, Wells Fargo and Don Johnson of State Farm Insurance.
