Marietta Tree Keepers Tree Planting

Volunteers are needed to plant trees at Marietta's Fire Station 4.

Marietta Tree Keepers is calling for volunteers of all ages to come out and assist as they plant 17 large trees at the City of Marietta’s Fire Station 4 on Saturday, Oct. 8.

This week is Fire Prevention week so come on out and help beautify the fire station and add more trees to the property

Volunteers are asked to arrive at 8:30 a.m. to enjoy donuts and beverages before digging into work. All ages are welcome to this family-friendly event.  Dress appropriately for the weather. Tools will be provided although volunteers are welcome to bring their favorite outdoor gloves and tools if they like.

Where: Fire Station 4, 228 Chestnut Hill Road, Marietta, GA 30064 (Chestnut Hills is off Powder Springs Road)

For Whom: Open to the public, all ages

Cost: Free
