Veterans Day Parade, Yoga on the Square, City Council, 'The Wizard of Oz'

Veterans Day Parade

The parade begins at Roswell Street Baptist Church, heads west on Roswell Street toward Marietta Square and ends at Lawrence Street. The parade is Monday, Nov. 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

City Council Agenda Work Session

The Marietta City Council will meet for a City Council Agenda Work Session on Nov. 11, at 5:15 p.m. at City Hall in the Council Chamber, 205 Lawrence Street. 

Yoga on the Square

Yoga on the Square Lunchtime yoga sessions offer energizing and stress-reducing exercise for participants. Relax while improving strength, flexibility, balance and overall coordination. Bring your own mat and other equipment. All levels welcome. The event takes place on Marietta Square on the second Tuesday of every month from noon to 12:45 p.m.

Agenda Review Session, City Council Meeting

The Marietta City Council will meet in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 205 Lawrence Street, on Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. for an Agenda Review Session. A City Council Meeting will be held at 7 p.m.

"The Wizard of Oz" at the Cobb Civic Center

"The Wizard of Oz" will be presented by the Curtain Call Youth Players at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre at the Cobb County Civic Center from Nov. 15 through Nov. 17. Tickets are $15.
