For at least 25 years Murph's Lounge has been Fair Oaks' version of Cheers. It's the neighborhood tavern and barbeque joint, featuring a full bar, a couple of pool tables, televisions, a juke box and even, from time to time, live music. The lacquered wooden bar is classic, warm and weathered. The place definitely has character and good old-fashioned Southern charm. Most popular items on the surprisingly large menu are BBQ Wings and the steaks.
