I was searching for something and came accross this website. My mother was there last year for rehab after knee replacement. We came in on a Friday afternoon and that was the worse time to do so we found out. We sat for nearly a hour before someone ever came to our very small room that was on the same wing with long term patients. The EMT who transported us had our info, so he set us up in the room. I did tour the place two weeks before and had heard great praise for the physical therapy program and I sign my mom up for the rehab. When someone finally came into our room, I was told to go check in which was all the way across the courtyard next to the rehab dept, but no one was there. And when I came back to her room, several staff members were going through her bags and examing her whole body for markings. I was devastated! I said why are you doing that without me present? My mom was doped up on major pain killers and was pretty much in and out, so she did not give them permission. I understand why they do inventory, but I was not greeted or told what to expect. No checklist, no agenda, nothing. I was so upset for my mom. Finally, Monday was here and the decision making staff have returned. I did take into consideration that they probably were understaff because all the main heads have banking hours for a 24/7 facility. We did get move to the rehab wing and it was a very nice room. A+ for the rehab dept. Hopefully they took my complaints about weekend check ins and fixed it.

This place is very deceiving. Do not fall prey to the good looks like we did. Their nursing staff is very incompetent and have little skills. They are very rude and have attitudes. Very little did I ever see the same nurse twice while my dad was there. And we tried to be with him 24 7. Communication skills in between shifts were poor. Some of his same meds was giving to him more than once a day. On the 4th day of my dad having disenteria they finally put him on a liquid diet. The other 3 days he was being giving 2 stool softeners a day with out our knowledge. My 85 year old dad would push the alert button so some one could help him to the restroom. No one would show up until 30 to 40 mins. By then he had already messed all over hisself. And this happened often. We quickly had him removed. The food quality was very poor. This place is a JOKE.
