Walton Village is a HORRIBLE place to live! The current property manager out to bring in as much money as possible to the apt complex whether she does it unethically or not. The maintenance workers are constantly walking around talking on their cell phones and goofing off, don’t wipe their feet when they come in my apartment, don’t make timely repairs, and have inappropriate conversations while they are in my apartment doing a repair/inspection.
I’ve also had a problem with bugs here and have had to have the exterminator come to spray my apartment several times!
This complex takes section 8 vouchers so there are a lot of ghetto folks with a million kids and no jobs. I’ve also seen people dealing drugs in the parking lot!!
Walton Village’s lease says that they will provide you with at least a 90 day notice if your rent will increase for your new lease renewal. Since they are so darn shady and out to get your money by any means necessary they provided me with a 3 week notice that my rent would increase and told me I either have to sign my lease or pay 1000+ dollars in fees to vacate immediately.
I’ve brought all of my concerns to the property manager, area director, and principal and they all have done nothing to correct any of my issues. THEY ARE ALL ABOUT MONEY AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR RESIDENTS!!!!
