West Side Elementary
770-429-3172
West Side Elementary has been a community fixture of West Marietta ever since its completion in 1949. Today, this K-5 school educates more than 500 students.
Although the school celebrates a rich heritage, its faculty and staff continue to pursue the most rigorous instruction available to help students meet the demands of the future. In 2006, the school adopted the Talented and Gifted (TAG) Enrichment program, an academic course of study designed to cultivate each student's unique repertoire of talents. The school also earned a Georgia School of Excellence award in 1985.
Jennifer Lawson serves as principal for this Marietta City school.
