Here's what you need to know before you leave home Friday, Sept. 16.
1. Today will be mostly cloudy with a high near 73 and east winds between 10 and 15 mph, the National Weather Service says. 2. The Captain John Collins Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will be presenting a framed copy of the Declaration of Independence to the Marietta Parks and Recreation Department at 1:30 p.m. at City Hall. 3. Marietta High School hosts the eighth annual Marietta Athletic Hall of Fame luncheon at noon in the Marietta High School seminar room. Inductees will also be recognized at the Blue Devils football game against Alpharetta at Northcutt Stadium. 4.
