White Water Crime Spree Ends in Ride to Jail

Two suspects were arrested in a theft crime spree that involved 10 victims at the Marietta amusement park.

Amanda Young, 27, of Marietta and Xavier Ransom, 18, of Marietta were arrested in a theft crime spree that involved 10 victims over a three-day period at the Six Flags White Water amusement park. Both suspects were stealing valuables from unattended bags at the theme park while the victims were on rides, according to Marietta Police. Detectives were able to track some purchases made with stolen credit cards to the Walmart on Trade Center Parkway. With help from Walmart Loss Prevention, detectives were able to identify one of the suspects and later identify the second.  Around $2,700 worth of stolen property was returned back to the victims.  Approximately $2,500 of property was purchased with stolen credit cards, of which $400 of the …
