By Bill Bruton Marietta's East Cobb YMCA U-14 Rec Team "Freedom" are the 2012 Georgia Soccer State Champions. After being unbeaten during the season and winning the four-game regional finals, they defeated the Dacula Champions by a score of 2-1 in the Championship Game played in Fayetteville, Georgia. During the 2011-2012 Seasons Freedom had a combined record of 24-0-1, were unbeaten in 25 straight games and un-scored on for 24 straight until the Final. Freedom is Coached by Bill Bruton and Bob Burke. Team Manager is Lauri Bruton.
