Armed Robbery at Cobb Krystals

While the manager and other employees were cleaning the front counter an armed man entered the Marietta restaurant and demanded money from the safe.

Cobb Police are searching for the perpetrator in an armed robbery at Krystals, 2929 Canton Rd. in Marietta, on Dec. 5. While the manager and other employees were cleaning the front counter an armed man entered the restaurant and demanded money from the safe.  After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the perpetrator fled from the business in an unknown direction, according to a press release from Cobb Police.

Cobb Police continue to search for a suspect who robbed a Cobb Walgreens store on Nov. 29. Cobb Police spokesman Officer Michael Bowman said that a white male approached the registers at the Walgreens location at 2464 Roswell Road, asking for merchandise behind the counters. When a Walgreens employee placed the items on the counter, the suspect opened a jacket to display a handgun, demanded the merchandise, and fled the store, Bowman said. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Cobb Police at 770-499-3945.

The man entered the C.V.S. in Marietta and demanded specific prescription drugs and cash.

Cobb Police are searching for the perpetrator of an armed man robbery that occurred at the C.V.S. at 2014 Powers Ferry Road, on Dec. 5. The man entered the C.V.S. and approached employees at the pharmacy counter. He demanded specific prescription drugs and cash from the register. The perpetrator displayed a handgun that was tucked in his waistband, according to Sgt. Dana Pierce of the Cobb Police Department. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the perpetrator fled from the area in what was described as a gold or tan (full size) S.U.V., Pierce said. The perpetrator is described as a black male, approximately 6’ tall and heavyset or muscular, according to Cobb Police. He is between 40 and 50 years old and was last seen wearing …

Marietta Man Wanted for Armed Robbery on Garrison Road

Marietta Police are looking for Isiah “Cino” Binns of Marietta. Binns is wanted for the armed robbery of an individual on Garrison Road.

Marietta Police are looking for Isiah “Cino” Binns, 24, of Marietta.  Binns is wanted for the armed robbery of an individual, which occurred on Garrison Road on Oct. 30, Marietta Police Public Information Officer David Baldwin said. Binns is considered armed and dangerous. If anyone has contact with Binns, they are asked to call 911 immediately.  Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the perpetrator and/or information on the robbery is asked to contact Detective Merritt at 770-794-5324 or the Anonymous Tip Line at 770-794-6990. GBI IDs Man Killed in I-75 Chase

Jerome George “Jerry” Cundy of Woodstock led Cherokee and Cobb authorities on a chase after he allegedly robbed a Woodstock convenience store Sunday morning.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has identified the man killed Sunday in an officer-involved shooting on I-75 as 53-year-old Jerome George “Jerry” Cundy of Woodstock. Cundy allegedly robbed a Woodstock convenience store Sunday morning, then led Cobb and Cherokee law enforcement on a chase from a Marathon station on Bells Ferry Road in Woodstock and down I-75, to just south of the North Marietta Parkway.  Police stopped the vehicle there, and Cundy aimed his gun at officers, who shot and killed him, the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said Sunday. GBI spokesman John Bankhead offered no other details in the case, which remains under investigation. Southbound I-75 traffic was halted at the North Marietta Parkway around 11 a.m. Sunday. …

Robbery Suspect Killed in I-75 Chase

All southbound lanes were closed for hours near the North Marietta Parkway exit Sunday after a law enforcement pursuit that began in Woodstock.

A suspect who allegedly robbed a Woodstock convenience store Sunday morning was shot and killed by police on Interstate 75 near the North Marietta Parkway, leaving southbound traffic jammed for most of Sunday afternoon. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that the unidentified suspect led Cobb and Cherokee law enforcement on a chase from a Marathon station on Bells Ferry Road in Woodstock and down I-75, to just south of the North Marietta Parkway.  Police stopped the vehicle there, and the suspect aimed his gun at officers, who shot and killed him, according to the AJC report, which was based on a statement issued by the Cherokee Sheriff's Office.  Southbound I-75 traffic was halted at the North Marietta Parkway around 11 a.m., …

Gunman Robs Marietta Discount Store

The bandanna-wearing bandit made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A gunman robbed the Discount Store just outside the city of Marietta on Friday night. A man wearing a black hoodie and a black bandanna across his face entered the store at 371 Pat Mell Rd., near the intersection with South Cobb Drive, about 9:15 p.m. as an employee was closing for the night, Cobb County police spokesman Officer Mike Bowman said in a news release. The bandit, brandishing a handgun, ordered the employee to the floor and took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register. The employee did not see which way the gunman ran, police said. Police ask anyone with information about the robbery to call 770-499-3945.

Taco Bell Robbed by Shotgun

The Marietta Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Friday morning.

At around 10:02 a.m. Friday, a black male entered a Marietta Taco Bell with a full length shotgun. The suspect held three employees at gunpoint and demanded the money from the safe. The man placed the money into a backpack then fled. He was seen getting into the rear passenger seat of a dark blue or black Chevrolet Impala with no tag displayed. The vehicle was last seen traveling northbound on Powder Springs Street. The suspect is described as a black male between 5 foot 8 and 5 foot 11 and 17 to 23 years old. The suspect has a thin to medium build and was wearing black pants with a teal colored hoodie, a hat and a red bandana covering his face. The suspect was also wearing cloth gloves. Armed Man Robs Red Roof Inn

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash from a Red Roof Inn, a male armed with a handgun fled on foot.

A man armed with a handgun entered the Red Roof Inn at 2200 Corporate Plaza at 5:45 a.m. Monday and forced the employee to open the safe, Cobb County Police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said in a press release. The robber is described as a 5 foot 6 inch black male in his late 20s to early 30s. He was last seen wearing dark clothing with a bandanna that covered his face. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled on foot. The Cobb County Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit is investigating the robbery. Anyone with information should call 770-499-3945.
