Cobb County Police are searching for a man who robbed the Fifth Third Bank inside the Kroger on Macland Road Tuesday, according to 11 Alive and the Marietta Daily Journal. The man jumped over the counter, claimed to have a gun and demanded money from employees. The perpetrator is described as a small-framed black male in his late 20s to early 30s, about six feet tall, light-complexioned with long braids or dreadlocks, 11 Alive and the MDJ report. A second robbery occured Tuesday at the BB&T Bank on Dallas Highway, the MDJ reports. A black male described as being in his late 20s and about six feet tall jumped over the counter and demanded money. Both men fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The culprit is described as a skinny white male wearing a shoulder-length black wig, women’s clothing and sunglasses.

A white man robbed the BB&T bank at 1901 Sandy Plains Rd. in Marietta about 1 p.m. Monday. The robber approached the teller with a note, was given an undisclosed amount of money and left through the front doors. He was last seen running behind the bank. The robber is described as a skinny white male between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10 who wore a shoulder-length black wig, women’s clothing and sunglasses.
