Marietta City Schools (MCS) will hold Choice Academies random drawings Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at 5 p.m. at the Central Administrative Offices located at 250 Howard Street in Marietta. The random drawings determine student placement for available West Side Elementary kindergarten seats, and wait lists for West Side kindergarten, second and fifth grade and A.L. The open application period for the Marietta City Schools elementary Choice Academies program for 2012-2013 is Nov. 7 through Jan. 20. Choice provides parents and guardians an opportunity to choose the elementary school best suited to their child’s talents and needs.
