The Design-Build Institute of America honored the Cobb County Superior Courthouse in Marietta with its Southeast Region 2012 Best Design Award. Projects deserving the Southeast Chapter Design Build Award best exemplify the principles of interdisciplinary teamwork, innovation and problem solving that characterize the design-build delivery. The courthouse, which was completed in 2010, was funded through the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax program.
