The Georgia Department of Labor will help Norred & Associates, a security and investigative company, fill about 10 jobs for unarmed security officers in metro Atlanta Thursday, Sept. 6. The recruitment will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the GDOL’s Cobb-Cherokee Career Center, located at 465 Big Shanty Road in Marietta. While no previous security experience is necessary, applicants must have a resume, be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED). They must also have their own transportation and be able to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends and holidays. The Georgia Department of Labor will conduct two separate recruitments this week to help a McDonald’s restaurant and RGIS Inventory Service fill a number of jobs in Cobb County.

The Georgia Department of Labor will conduct two separate recruitments this week to help a McDonald’s restaurant and RGIS Inventory Service fill a number of jobs in Cobb County. The first event will be held Thursday, Aug. 30, at the McDonald’s restaurant, located at 4050 Jiles Rd. in Kennesaw. Two recruiting sessions will be held: one from 8 to 11 a.m. and the other from 2 to 4 p.m. The restaurant will be hiring workers to operate grills, take orders from customers, operate cash registers, prepare menu items, stock supplies, perform cleaning and janitorial services, and provide building maintenance.
