Students, faculty and alumni of Life and Southern Polytechnic State universities, residents, and business and property owners are invited to comment on the draft plan for the Marietta University Enhancement Livable Centers Initiative study area. Attendees will have an opportunity to review recommendations for transportation and connectivity improvements, land use changes, a multi-use trail and a new university center. The purpose of the study is to create a redevelopment plan for Cobb Parkway and South Marietta Parkway, increase visibility of Life and Southern Polytechnic State universities, and better connect the universities with the surrounding community.
