GHSA Moves Marietta West

The Blue Devils' new region will group them with schools in West and South Cobb and separate them from East Cobb.

The new regions the Georgia High School Association announced Tuesday will switch Marietta High's ties from east to west while turning Osborne toward the north and east. Meanwhile, the Walker School will remain in the smallest-enrollment classification, A, in a subregion of 6-A with Darlington, Mount Paran Christian, Mount Pisgah, Mount Zion-Carrollton, North Cobb Christian, Southwest Atlanta Christian and Whitefield Academy. The new regions are part of the GHSA’s move from five classifications to six.
