Robbery at Marietta Walgreens
Marietta Police are searching for a male who held up the South Marietta Parkway location early Friday.
Marietta Police are looking for a male suspect who held up a Walgreens pharmacy early Friday. Police said a light-skinned black male entered the store at 23 South Marietta Parkway, at the intersection of Whitlock Avenue just off the Marietta Square, around 12:30 a.m. The suspect produced a handgun to a store clerk and got away with cartons of cigarettes and cash, then left the store on foot toward South Marietta Parkway, according to police. There was no further description of the suspect, and anyone with information is asked to call Marietta Police Detective Mike Freer at 770-794-5477 or the Anonymous Tip Line at 770-794-6990.
