I am a Marietta native and Mom. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Television and Theatre, I moved to New York City to pursue a performing career. Once there I found a passion for the creative processes behind the scenes: PR, marketing and communications. After moving back to Georgia, I developed a career in marketing consulting and corporate communications. I have had honor of working with great companies and projects, including the 1996 Olympic Games and was a member of Randstad Staffing Service's corporate marketing team. Assisting in the development and implementation of branding and communications strategies-prior to and throughout the Games-was an invaluable experience. As a contributor for Patch, I appreciate the company's vision and goals; giving communities local news and events in an interesting, relevant and easy to navigate format.
