ReplyCobb Co. is too bike friendly now. Most of the bikers I see don't obey traffic rules (coasting thru red lights and stop signs, changing lanes without notice). The new law that says drivers have to give them 3' of room means I have to break another law, the one that says I can't cross a solid yellow line. This makes no sense. Most of our sidewalks are empty. If people want to ride bikes safely along with 4000-pound vehicles, they should be on the sidewalks. If there are (the rare) pedestrians, they can get off their bikes to pass the pedestrians, then get back on their bikes. I always wonder if these folks stink when they arrive at their offices. Or do they have their own showers?

ReplyHouse is a rental owned by Thomas Mitchell. He rented to a different illegal who was arrested 7 months earlier for having meth and cocaine and cash in the house. He's not screening his renters very well, is he? Also, someone tried to burn the house down after the man was arrested; smacks of organized crime, doesn't it?

ReplyI'm surprised the police blotter didn't include the arrest of 2 illegals for running a meth/cocaine house on Alberta Drive. This was last week, and it's a lot more important and useful than knowing someone broke into a car.

You admit you are no match for cars and trucks, why be so stubborn as to force the issue? Bikers will never come out ahead in a collision with vehicles. Bikes do NOT belong on the roads with 4000-pound vehicles.
