Update: Cobb Cancels Mattie's Call for Marietta Woman

She was located by uniform patrol officers from Precinct 3.

Update 2:25 p.m.

Cobb police have canceled a Mattie's Call for a 71-year-old Marietta woman who had not been seen since Thursday night.

Rosa Balsinde was last seen at 9:30 p.m. Thursday at her residence in the 1500 block of Bellemeade Drive. Family members were worried when she didn't return because Balsinde's mental state has started to deteriorate, Officer Mike Bowman with the Cobb County Police Department said.

Hours after issuing a Mattie's Call this morning, "Balsinde was located by uniform patrol officers from Precinct 3 and is reported to be in good health and spirits," Bowman said this afternoon in a statement. "She was released back into the care of family members."
