The Blue Devils hosted the Lassiter Trojans in a key Region 5-AAAAA baseball game

The Marietta Blue Devils hosted Lassiter in a key Region 5-AAAAA baseball game on Monday, but the friendly confines of a home field did nothing to help Marietta.

Lassiter blanked the Blue Devils, 11-0, and held Marietta to just two hits.

Both hits were singles, one by Tyler Wilson in the third inning and one by Michael Whatley in the fifth inning.
